Business Studies and German (TR086)

Undergraduate Orientation Week 2025 will take place from 15 - 19 September. Your timetable for the week will be posted below in late August.

In the meantime, feel free to explore this page to familiarise yourself with the services, processes, and information you will encounter as you prepare to begin your studies at Trinity.

If you have any access or assistance requirements for Orientation Week, please do let us know at transitionoffice@tcd.ie

1. Module Enrolment

You will register for your modules on my.tcd.ie. This is a separate process to your registration for College, so you must complete both.

To begin Module Enrolment, head to the “My Programme” tab in your my.tcd.ie portal. Please see the page below for more information.

2. Meet Your Tutor

You will have a College Tutor assigned to you in your first few weeks at Trinity. You’ll be able to check the name of your Tutor in your my.tcd.ie portal. Once you know who your Tutor is, you should reach out to them to introduce yourself, and they may also contact you to welcome you to College and to tell you more about themselves and the Tutorial System. Your Tutor will be really important for you during your time in Trinity, so it’s important that you meet or reach out to them early on.

3. S2S Mentor Meet-Up

Your S2S Mentors are fellow students who have already completed first year, and who will play a critical role in helping you to navigate your own first year in Trinity. They will make sure you:

  • Get to know other students
  • Have a space to ask questions
  • Know your way around the physical campus and the online resources available
  • Feel like you’re a part of the Trinity community

Your first S2S Mentor Meet-Up will be scheduled as part of your Orientation Timetable. If you have any difficulties attending your session, please contact studen2s@tcd.ie and the S2S team will make sure that you’re included in a Mentor group and that you get to catch up on anything you’ve missed.

4. Orientation Hub

As well as being the place to collect your student ID Card, the Orientation Hub will also have a range of services on site to help you get set up and ready for your first week. So, if you have questions for the Academic Registry, IT Services, Trinity Global, the disAbility Service, or other areas, pop in to the Hub and ask!

5. Orientation Timetable

Undergraduate Orientation Week 2025 will take place from 15 - 19 September. Your timetable for the week will be posted below in late August.

You must refer to this timetable for Orientation Week, rather than the timetable on my.tcd.ie or on the Trinity Live app.
