Summer Programmes
Are you interested in studying abroad but perhaps wary of going for a full semester or for a year? Many of our partner universities also offer shorter summer courses which are open to current Trinity students, which will give you the opportunity to gain some international experience without having to commit to a longer period overseas.
Taking part in a summer programme can be a brilliant way to experience studying abroad without spending a whole term or year abroad. However, unlike exchange programmes, credits gained in summer programmes do not count towards your Trinity degree. The courses on offer at each institution are often taught by leading experts in their respective fields, and vary from engineering and science-focused courses to courses focused on language, culture, and history of the region. Please note: being outside the academic year, costs to attend summer programmes are at the student’s expense, although some partners offer generous partner discounts or tuition waivers.
