The Trinity Research Development Office is a team of research funding specialists working with Trinity researchers across all disciplines and career stages to support their efforts to fund their ideas and research.

What we do We develop training and information sessions for researchers, designed to build skills and to evolve knowledge of the grant writing process and of emergent funding priorities.

What we do We provide the latest information on research funding opportunities, funder announcements and upcoming events through Research Focus Newsletter.

What we do We advise on strategic funding plans to attract the resources needed for the research ambitions of individual researchers or groups.

What we do We advise College officers and responsible units on areas of policy and strategy impacting researchers’ capacity to compete for research funding, and to promote more effective and ambitious facilitation of research at TCD.

What we do We engage with key stakeholders and networks to influence the funding environment and to maximise opportunity for Trinity researchers.
